Law Management Section launches updated HR toolkit

The Law Management Section has re-launched its HR toolkit featuring a new chapter about managing change positively, and revised chapters about employment contracts, web-based performance management, and age discrimination. Other updated chapters include performance management; Lexcel and managing talent.
 
The toolkit provides practices with an initial human resources reference, with updated chapters addressing key issues arising from the recession. The toolkit comprises:

  • summaries of key HR issues and techniques;
  • key checklists for lawyers and HR professionals;
  • policies;
  • suggested forms;
  • hints and tips; and
  • additional references.
The toolkit is aimed not only at partners and fee-earners, but also at HR staff, practice managers and individuals overseeing the HR function in law firms.

The toolkit is available for members to download via the ‘Resources’ area of this website. Non-members can purchase the toolkit via the Section’s e-shop for £75+VAT, which includes future updates.
