Section publishes new toolkit on business planning
The Law Management Section is delighted to announce the publication of the latest in its series of toolkits - chapter-based, periodically updated guides to specific areas of law firm management.
The Business Planning Toolkit is designed to help practitioners to understand how to draft and implement business plans, including plans for individuals, teams and the firm, and through all stages including securing buy-in and reviewing the plan following initial implementation. Each chapter aims to provide an initial reference course – the toolkit is not intended to be a comprehensive overview of all business planning issues, but a place to start.
The toolkit is written by consultant Nick Jarrett-Kerr with additional case studies by managing partners at three Section member firms.
This new toolkit provides an invaluable addition to the Section's existing stable of six toolkits, covering HR, mergers, legal aid, business development, risk management and internet policies. Section members can download all seven toolkits free of charge from the relevant parts of the Resources section of this website.
Non-members can buy the new toolkit, plus any updates made in the first year, for £75. Visit the e-shop to buy the toolkit or join now to get access to all seven toolkits, plus all our other benefits, including a quarterly magazine, monthly e-newsletters, free webinars and discounts off Section events.
